I remember walking past and seeing the new EL TORO!!!!!! sign for the first time. My GF asked me: “what do you feel like eating”. I replied, “well, we could go to EL TORO!!!!!!!” Every time since then we shout “EL TORO!!!!!!!” every time it comes up. Like: “We could go to Yum Yum, EL TORO!!!!!!!, or Pueto Allegre”.

I haven’t noticed any change in the food. The super veggie burrito on a spinach tortilla is still the size of an infant, and the salsa is still boring.

Gah, that’s the ugliest tacqueria in the Mish that I’ve seen yet. Sheesh. I can’t believe the crappy, dirty, white exterior is gone…

Interestingly, the interior signage, uniforms, and equipment are all identical to Pancho Villa now. Food is still good (not standout), though seems like more of a clone of PV and I think the meat dishes used to be a little richer tasting. They’ve still got the funky little stools, but the old decor was more interesting.

yeah i noticed they threw us a bone by keeping the old stools, but that might be too little too late

It’s still the same as it used to be food wise, and just like Pancho Villa. Pancho Villa (x2) and El Toro are owned by the same person aren’t they? The menus have always been the same I believe and their websites are linked.

    “The Mish”??? Andrew? Really?

Did you pick that one up at Medjool?
