Gravel & Gold Opens Its New Doors

I’ve actually never been to Gravel & Gold the store, but I’ve long been a fan of their blog. They recently relocated from ActivSpace to the old Minnie Wilde spot on the corner of 21st and Lexington, and tomorrow they open to the public for the first time.

Does anyone remember what was there before Minnie Wilde? And wasn’t there another boutique at that location after Minnie Wilde?

    I’m glad you asked, Sean.
Before Gravel & Gold, there was Ellie Olson, which was really Minnie Wilde by another name. And before that it was another ladies dress shop called Dangerous Curves. Prior to that, I’ve been told it was print shop and a beauty salon and all sorts of different things. I suspect that it may have been a garage at one time. I can guarantee you that it’s never looked quite like it does now.
