Hershend Family Entertainment in Norcross, GA owns Cable Car Sightseeing here in San Francisco. I say tow those things out of this city and destroy them! Besides, car #29 almost ran me over on the Embarcardero last fall.
I see accordion Muni cars on a flatbeds going south on 280 a couple times a year — I took this back in 2004. (Rezless photography has come a long way in 4 years.)
Any idea where they are taking them? Assuming some sort of refurb.
Plug1, were you talking about this, or the car getting down down the tracks in the city?
@ johnny0: holy cow. i’ve never seen an LRV getting a lift. that’s a crazy pic. i meant the accordion ones, like the 14 or 38. i see them on The EMB and 3rd a couple of times a month, heading (i think) to The Woods Division in Dogpatch.
