We were awoken at 3:45 a.m. Wed morning by the sound of a black mustang crashing into and totaling a parked car on South Van Ness near The Phone Booth. The driver (and friends) pretty much just hung out in the car until the cops showed up (3 cruisers, 9 cops). Woke up again at 6:30 a.m. and the totaled car was gone. Scared the crap out of me – but glad it happened at a time when the streets were empty.
