Plug1 had a nice weekend in the park:
yesterday, my buddy SergDun of Beer & Rap cooked a 16 lb pork shoulder on Dolores near 18th in Dolores Park. an 80′s boombox/cassette deck was there as well blasting OG Bay Raps like Cellski and Hardcore Metal bands like Rigor Mortis.
SergDun swears more than anyone i have ever met, so yesterday was a nice mix of obnoxiously loud music, non-stop curse words, and smoking pork.

Was he giving it away, selling it or sharing with friends? I saw him out there from my window, early in the A.M. Or maybe that was someone on Saturday…..memory is bad.
the aroma is free, but the pork costs moneyyyyyyyyyy.
kind of depends, early on I gave some away, later I sold some for a couple of bucks a sandwich. Last month I was selling for 5 bucks a sandwich. I don’t do it to make money really, just to boss up some bbq because bbq in the bay sucks dick
Whats the deal with BBQ-ing in the park? I assumed it would be a no-no, but on Saturday saw several.

technically bbq’s are not allowed in the park, I’ve looked into it, this is also why i setup on the sidewalk. I figure if they give me shit I’ll move it to the street. But I always see bitchass webers posted up so no one really gives a fuck. When I did this in july one of the park maintenance dudes ran up on me and his only concern was that I clean up when I was done. He told me I could do what ever I wanted as long as he didn’t end up with a melted trashcan.
I wouldn’t recommend robbing a bench with a ugly drum smoker but for the most part no one is hating on a grill at the park.
