If you know what’s good for you, you’ll encourage @bikebasketpies to add these revolutionary snacks to her regular rotation. For serious, these are something else.

does anyone know who won? i didnt stick around for awards…

  2. Allan Hough says:

The pies! First place according to the judges AND the people’s choice award!

    thanks for the shout-out!

  4. maybe special order only. they’re a helluva lot of work and definitely a collaborative production, not solely a bikebasketpies.

i’m so glad you (and everyone else!) liked them!

    Hey Allan and Kevin,

Great job as judges promoting your friends’ business by voting them #1! Did you not think about utterly transparent this appears to everyone else? You’ve completely discredited the entire “competition”, and showing everyone else that they shouldn’t even have bothered — it was rigged all along.

    • Allan says:

NEGATORY. Kevin was not a judge, and I barely know the winners. And most importantly, the Mac & Cheese Pies were far and away the best entry. Maybe everyone else should’ve bothered a little harder. And who the fuck are you?

  6. Cat says:

    From SFoodie’s Tamara Palmer:

“My fellow judges (Allan Hough and Kevin Montgomery from Mission Mission, and Beatrice Gomberg from MarketBar) …”

    • Allan Hough says:

Oh, SF Weekly got their facts wrong? SHOCKER!

    • I was not a judge. Some of the staff there (not the organizer) slapped a “judge” sticker on my chest, so I indulged myself in the free drinks / hand-delivered mac-n-cheese perks of the event.

I also didn’t think the pies were the best Mac n Cheese there (sorry, Bike Basket Pies).

    • Matt says:

Dude, Cat, your M&C just wasn’t that good. Do a better job next time and stop blaming people that your cooking sucked.
