Fences up at Dolores Park

They said they would, and now they did.  These pictures don’t necessarily address the scope of the area covered, but they give you and idea of what the park will look like for the next few months.

While I’m grateful they’re not closing the whole park all at once (like they did with my basketball and soccer court), it was still kind of weird not to hear the boisterous laughter of children playing on the playground while their families BBQ’d nearby.  Get used to it!

Uh, you hardly hear that nowadays, more like the boisterous drunken laughter and hushed ostentatious conversations of hipsters.
