Local rock gods Battlehooch and B. Hamilton bring ungodly rock to Brick and Mortar Music Hall tonight

I mean all you need to know about Battlehooch is that their name is Battlehooch, am I right? And as far as B. Hamilton, their frontman is Ryan Christopher Parks AKA Ron Kristophone AKA one of the most foul-mouthed (and foul-souled) Mission Mission commenters ever.

Introducing the Oakland Iced Tea

It’s like a Long Island Iced Tea but also contains Hennessy and Sprite. Tastes like Oakland!

Its origins date back to last night at Dear Mom, inspired by guest bartender Devon’s custom Mad Libs (as filled out by our pal Lindsey), and ultimately created by non-guest bartender Oliver. We also consulted noted Oakland celebrity Ryan Christopher Parks, but he wasn’t much help:

(Special thanks to Stu and Jess too.)

Bombastic rock ‘n’ roll revue tonight at Amnesia starring the Ferocious Few and B. Hamilton

Can’t wait! Ferocious Few and B. Hamilton have both been longtime faves. Together on one bill, Amnesia should be worried its foundations might be rocked to rubble.

Here’s what head Hamilton Ryan C. Parks had to say about tonight’s event this morning on Facebook:

Get your ass to Mars! RSVP and invite your friends!

Watch an epic Ferocious Few video here. Read all about B. Hamilton (and download their debut album for FREE) here.

Turns out our favorite Facebook terrorist Ryan Christopher Parks is also a talented songwriter with a voice like an angel

His band is called B. Hamilton and The Bay Bridged yesterday hipped us to the fact that their debut album is available as a free download here.

It’s a big rock ‘n’ roll album (with big rock ‘n’ roll cover art) by a big rock ‘n’ roll band. They sound like they could easily headline a big summer festival. Here’s hoping they do someday.

Fun with Facebook

If you’re not following Mission Mission on Facebook, you should. If only for the LOLs brought by local pussy debilitater (and frequent commenter) Ryan Christopher Parks:

Ryan is a barrel of laughs. Poignant laughs!

You might want to check out his band too, and his awesome Kickstarter pitch.

Your Idea Isn't the Right Fit for Kickstarter

I saw this just now and it just about broke my heart.

Ryan Christopher Parks (of B. Hamilton fame), Mission Mission would hereby like to buy you a sandwich.

A Really Good Review of a B. Hamilton Show at Amnesia

Attention All Babes

Hey, babes. According to my Facebook wall, Ryan Christopher Parks (A.K.A. Boots Hamilton) requires your presence at his performance tomorrow night at Amnesia:

I don’t understand the Dave Winfield reference either, but Ryan is a sweetheart, despite all the yelling. And I hear he’s a musical genius, despite this YouTube video. RSVP via Facebook event page here.

It's All About Drinking a Shit Ton of Racer 5 and Screaming While Pissing on a Wall

It’s time for the Mission Mission Facebook Wall comment of the day! Today’s comes courtesy of Mission Mission super fan Ryan Christopher Parks (pictured) in response to this morning’s post about Anchor Steam:

Anchor Steam tastes like shit. It’s all about drinking a shit ton of Racer 5 and screaming while pissing on a wall.

Ryan is a musician of some kind btw, and he is playing at Dalva tonight some time between 7 and 10 if you want to stop by and buy him an Anchor Steam or something.

Saturday Night Music Pick: Meat, Tits and Guns

Oakland’s Ryan Christopher Parks is playing some music as part of a reading at Cafe La Boheme tonight. The theme of the show is “Revolution 1968.” Says Ryan:

In preparation I’ve decided to rename some of my songs with titles like, “Hippies didn’t end the Vietnam War, I did”, “When the revolution comes I’m coming to your house with a crowbar”, and “Meat, tits, and guns”.

I can’t wait.

Update: P.S. It’s an early show, like 6ish.
