The City can’t even follow its own rules for events, nor can the “green event producers” ha!
The Dyke March was touted to be a “green event” but there was nothing done to green any aspect of it. Not having composting or recycling at events is illegal, but the dumbasses at Park and Rec and City Hall don’t give a fuck.

C’mon dyke marchers, stop greenwashing…and City Hall get your shit together.

I’m all for the event, but keep it legit.

I’m shocked things didn’t devolve rapidly into gunplay. I mean we are talking here about environmentally insensitive LESBIANS after all…

Block party also happened last year, but was shut down by cops around dark due to blocked 33 buses. This year they let people stick around after the post-parade street cleaner went through (around 8:30), as long as they weren’t impeding traffic. Didn’t shut down the music until 2!

They also let people continue to dance/drink/fuck *on top* of the bus stop at Guerrero. Very cool.

I would really like to thank the awesome people who kept the music going.

Haha. I was at the party in the apartment on 18th and Guerrero that was blasting the music, but I left around nine.

We also had a great view of the *on top* bus stop dancing, which quickly devolved into one chick fisting another.
