SFPD has released new specifics on the vehicle alleged to have mowed down a father-son cycling team on Valencia a while back. Says one of the victims:
We are on the lookout for a gray or silver SUV, probably a toyota or lexus, with a CA vanity plate containing a heart ♥ symbol in it (as in ” I ♥ RUNNING RED LIGHTS”).

jeez it’s a miracle they both weren’t killed (not to downplay the horror of a broken back).

I don’t get why if we have that much information, someone can’t just look at vehicle registration information. I mean, I’m sure there are lots of people driving silver SUVs with hearts on them, but wouldn’t a witness be able to identify … ?
