UPDATE: Torrey fills us in: “A bartender kicked some dude out for groping girls, dude started a fight, and a third party maced them both, which, as you can imagine, exacerbated the situation. Authorities were summoned. Not a whole lot of fun for anyone involved (I wasn’t there but the bartender is a friend. A friend who, I might add, often puts himself in harm’s way in order to protect the honor/safety of his patrons. Three cheers for chivalry).” Thanks, Torrey!

Same thing as happens at Beauty Bar every night, Pinky. A bunch of awful Marina-south douchebags congregate there.
Oh, now I’m interested. A couple weeks ago some friends and I were followed home from the Beauty Bar by a couple sketchy dudes that had been hitting on them. Things escalated and ended with dude throwing a punch at one of the girls I was with and getting pepper sprayed in response. I wonder if it was the same guy. Was anybody there last night?
not trying to justify what happened but maybe the people working the door at Beauty Bar should rethink their “letting in girls who can’t walk through the door, stumble into the door frame, hit a table and smash a glass on the floor, and then have to be held up by 2 friends while they try to find their ID to stop the door people screaming at them about it” policy.
last week i saw two girls there who were so drunk they should have been put in an ambulance, let alone tossed out of the fucking bar or never let in.
