A pair of bold Thursday night robberies

Mission Local delivers the news. First:

The 18-year-old victim was standing [in front of his home] near 26th and Harrison streets when a suspect approached him and choked him from behind. A second suspect took the victim’s phone before both suspects fled on foot.

And then:

The [25-year-old] victim was approached by a knife-wielding suspect near 17th and Shotwell streets. She cut the strap of her purse and took off with it in a 90s two-door gray Honda, according to a police report. [link]

Too bad they couldn’t rob Dr. Fart’s ding-a-ling.

I try to avoid 26th between Bryant and Harrison after dark. But that’s probably tough to do if you live there. And besides Latrel Sprewell, who the hell chokes people?

    Projects.
At least there is a back-lash to all the kids moving into the Mission.
That being said; I was jumped (aka mugged) twice in a year living on 26th btw Mission and S. Van Ness.
    NYC is over all that.

You deserve to get robbed if your head is in your phone and not paying attention. Stop making yourself a victim, then playing the victim.
