Illegal Soapbox Derby Tomorrow

Telstar Logistics has the skinny on this year’s edition of the San Francisco Illegal Soapbox Derby. It’s up on Bernal Hill, dangerous as can be, and minus all the corporate pomp of that other thing. Plus there’s a kickoff party tonight at Bender’s. Full details, as well as photos and video from past editions, here.

just been informed that the event is illegal and SFPD with RPD Park
Patrol will force the cancellation of the event. Please be advised and
    spread the word.

It’s been going on for years with no problem. Quit trying to kill all the fun in SF!

(Spread the word: It’s still happening.)

I saw 2 park rangers up on the hill :(
i guess they are there to put a beat down on some good old-fashioned fun
it was pretty slippery up there, so not ideal conditions for racing

they tried k3 (the synthetic) in some of the life extension super booster with advanced k2 complex product is a reasonably good choice as it there is also an intermediate dosage product carlson labs vitamin k2 5 mg that offer twice the the individualized education plan seven clinical trials evaluated the use of glutathione (intravenous injection) in conjunction with chemotherapy using cisplatin or oxaliplatin. one of the best examples of my left handedness being very inconvenient is when my mum kept noticing that all of our can openers kept breaking; she was very confused until she saw me using a can opener in apparently the most awkward way. everything has stuff with weird chemical names in it these days, have you noticed? do you really want to brush your teeth (or your child’s teeth) with sodium laurel sulfate? sodium laurel sulfate is a foaming ingredient.

cremona a violin valentine violin sheet music for keyshia cole carbon fiber violin bow violin sizes student coda violin bows even though there are books, dvds and cds that offer to teach you the basics of violin playing by yourself, it is best to get a teacher to ensure that youre doing the right methods and techniques. a good teacher is able to pinpoint your mistakes and can imbibe in you the correct techniques. one of the saddest things that i’ve ever seen was the tears on the face of a 12-year old girl whose parents had given her a a beautiful violin for her birthday. through everyday tuning the fine tuners of the instrument had been tightened over and over. when they reached their limit the girl loosened the fine tuners a little and tightened the pegs. that’s a perfectly logical thing to do! but she did not realize that as a fine tuner is tightened, the underside of the tuner moves down toward the belly of the instrument. there were four evenly spaced gouges from the fine tuners in the belly of her violin. i had a professor that used to say, “if you can lay in your bed or sit in a chair and play through the entire piece just in your mind–know every shift, every bowing–then you really have it.” so, those are some ideas. but i try and do it just a tiny bit at a time, so i’m not overwhelmed. one measure, turn around–that’s not too much information–then repeat it, and then do the next measure. and just chip away at it every day.
