BART Might Get Even Less Useful

Damn it all. If BART reduces service on nights and Sundays, how the hell are we supposed to get home after the Jonathan Richman shows at Starry Plough in a couple weeks?

I thought we were already poor and selling our cars to afford bart tickets to ride in a warm hobo train all night, to sleep. This is only going to lead to more sleeping in stations and driving and never leaving the city/parts wherever-Bay.

    “thanks, riders” placards indeed.

my personal favorite was when, last year, our record number Spare the Air days were quickly followed with BART’s proposing higher ticket prices for people to exit at Montgomery. “Ride.” “Don’t Ride.” “Ride.” “Don’t Ride.” Love you Forever, Bay Area Rapid Transit. Bring back the rude people photo gallery!

We need late night service on Bart, not less service! How many times have I arrived at SFO on a flight arriving at 11:30 p.m. only to run breathlessly to catch the last Bart train at 11:40 p.m……and miss it. Bart should run to at least 1:00 a.m.
