My First Earthquake to Shake the Knockout Tonight

Last week, two members of  My First Earthquake (perhaps you recall their holiday viral video hit Fa La Freezing) appeared on Pirate Cat Radio in part to promote their show tonight at the Knockout.

They’re in the midst of recording an album over a period of five days in the Oakland Hills with producer Anthony Molina of Mercury Rev, so drummer Andre assured us, on air, that their set tonight will be “extra special tight.”

Bandleader Rebecca added, “We’re gonna know the songs’ soul and shit.”

Then they mentioned that they’re accepting suggestions for the forthcoming album’s title. I submit “Extra Special Tight” or “Soul & Shit.”
