I too took pictures of the Valencia Street bomb scare situation but neglected to suss out any other salient details

Vic totally killed it with his shot of the bomb-bot (flawed though the bomb-bot may be), but I stand by my flare-heavy RAZR pics here.

Oooh, here’s a new fact! This shot of an SF Community College District Police car might mean this all had something to do with the Mission branch of CCSF:

(I checked Twitter also, and mind you this is all five hours after the fact — I had to watch two hours of Breaking Bad and then go to Slow Jams, yo — but still nobody seems to know what exactly went down. Maybe we’ll call SFPD Media Relations in the morning.)

  1. Finally, a bomb scare on Valencia St that didn’t involve the Salvation Army.

Cop boredly told me a few details around 9:30pm: Suspicious package discovered inside city college, bomb squad checking it out. They acted like it was no big deal, although around 9pm, a friend on the block was instructed to stay inside and away from her windows. Being the paranoid person I am, I hung out with a roommate at Liberties until things cleared up around midnight, then went home.
