Is the US Bank Building on fire? UPDATE: No, but Mission Chinese Food might’ve almost burned down

UPDATE: The fire was in a unit “either above or behind” Mission Chinese Food, but they put it out quick, thank goodness. Mission Local has further details here. [via hadsrobinson]

Damn, I’m right around the corner. Walked by at 3:30, no sign of anything wrong, heard the sirens five minutes later, then went up on the roof after I saw this post around 3:50. Couldn’t see a thing. Quick!
