[via Bus Driver Stories] [Thanks, Josh.]
We got one asshole. On to the next.
I heard yesterday those cost $750,000.00. Are the Giants footing the bill to replace this?
this pisses me off more than the burning. how the fuck do we pay 750k for one bus??
It’s not like they’re rolling off the assembly line in huge numbers like Mini Coopers.
Well maybe you shouldn’t get pissed off so easily, and start to think critically. Commercial grade vehicles are expensive, because they take abuse.. Do you drive your car 8 to 12 hours a day.. pretty much EVERY DAY..
Once you consider maintenance costs, fuel, and the amount of passengers that a bus transports.. the dollar to passenger mile moved of a bus is minuscule compared to the same dollar for an average car.
time to die.
Awesome. MUNI runs fine as it is, I’m sure one less bus won’t be too much of a big deal.
Sure hope insurance covers this.
I wanna leave flowers or something.
SFPD posted a video of the guy setting the muni bus on fire. Anyone recognize this pyro? https://vimeo.com/52506635
yes, i think that’s your mom.
Swing and a miss!
let the piggles figure it on their own
Hopefully they can find the culprit and lock him in the bus before it gets run through the crusher.
‘My team won, so I’m gonna burn a bus!’
All you bitches complaining about your first world problems. If the cost bothers you, why dont you lobby the city to stop throwing millions at muni every year. If its kids causing trouble that bothers you, why dont you volunteer at the boys & girls club. Shut your fucking vigilanti mouths and DO something positive, instead of complaining for weeks about a party that lasted one night.
“Shut your fucking vigilanti mouths and DO something positive”
Like be an jerk troll on blog comments? What an inspiration you are!
The “doing something positive” — would that involve hanging bus-burners from lamp posts? Suggestions?
Your definition of “party” is broken.
This is why we can’t have nice things…
