A blog devoted to pictures of large groups of men waiting in line for food in downtown San Francisco

It’s called Man Lines and it is strangely grim and positively haunting.

This is amazing. It’s like we’re moving backwards to when it was socially unacceptable for women to eat in restaurants, and men would line up for food, and then stand and eat them at a railing around the room. That’s how we got tea rooms in department stores, because women would get hangry but didn’t want to/couldn’t stand in Man Lines!!

  8. The women are all at their desks, eating out of little Tupperware containers of stuff they brought from home.
