“Mr. Seahorse knows that no one is illegal,” reads this sidewalk stencil found by Mission Mission reader JimBeam.
i dont get it. what does a seahorse have to do with illegals?
Dude, it means that EVERYBODY knows.
is that true? no one is illegal?
is it also true that no one is undocumented?
is it also true that, if no one is illegal and no one is undocumented, that everyone is subject to the same set of laws, rules, and requirements?
color me confused. this is silly.
What Mr. Seahorse is getting at is that underwater there are no borders.
Overland our borders are arbitrary(see the Balkans, Middle East, Israel and Palestine), man made, not fixed and often times badly, badly drawn. So what is illegal now may not have been illegal in the past. And conversely what is legal now many not be legal in the future.
Mr. seahorse is super flexible with semantics, borders oh, and sexuality.
Loula, are you close personal friends with Mr. Seahorse?
Nah dude, those graf artists never reveal their identities. I just don’t know how he stencils without hands and arms.
No way the stenciler’s a seahorse — clearly a squid or an octopus — lots of arms, and they don’t need to buy any spraypaint.
And they are crazy good with camouflage and changing shape:
They could easily imitate a Mission hipster and you wouldn’t even know the difference.
Ha. Don’t have to buy spraypaint. I just now got it!
