Full Moon Mission

The Moon, Waxing

Well, we had another full moon last night. As we’ve talked about before things can get a little hectic out there. Add the bridge closure and all night BART, and you’ve got a handful of a weekend.

Two people shot at 16th and Julian.

Man kicking and punching woman at 17th and Mission.

I’d like to think I could summon up some Hard Harry wisdom at this point, that would make someone think twice before doing something stupid. But I can’t.

Be careful out there, people. Eat your cereal with a fork and do your homework in the dark.

Well, that one didn’t really work.

(Oh, sorry, one last thing: the above photo actually shows the moon from the other night, you know, when everyone was posting pics of the goddamn sky. So, not the real full moon)

UPDATE: As expected, Mission Loc@l tells a much fuller story of last night’s shooting.

Anyone know any more about the shooting at 16th and Julian? What happened?

It seems like it somehow continued across Hoff to 17th and Mission. I heard a few different versions from people walking around out there.

Man, my neighborhood was going off last night too! I live at 24th and Utah. First, there was a huge fight between some women and a man in the Walgreen’s parking lot. Then, on 23rd st some guy was yelling at the top of his lungs for 30 minutes or so. Then some guy walked down Utah, breaking glass bottles the whole way. It was such a freaky night last night.. Then the gardeners who maintain the greenery in Walgreen’s parking lot showed up at 12:30am with leaf blowers to clean up the parking lot. WTF? Ok, that part wasn’t freaky but it sure was annoying!

  5. of the top ten artists, eight are from the country format including the man with the most number one records in history, the legendary artist george strait, who comes in third behind tim mcgraw and toby keith. there are selective guidelines in place that ensure that the free music featured on the site is of the highest quality and absolutely legal. i know who holds tomorrow simply stated is one of alison krauss’s best cds to date. the converted slaves started to adapt the normally somber and sedated methodist hymns, infusing it with their own native music. great track!
