While we were on the subject of beating on one another with cardboard tubes, I was reminded of this video I shot in the park in ’08 of the Cardboard Tube Fighting League. Damn, it’s been two years? Did this ever happen again?

   This is NOT CTFL.
   It’s BoxWars.

   I’m the one in the pink.

   Born in the UK, BoxWars moved to the US last year. It’s like CTFL, except it doesn’t suck. Initially held in punk rock clubs in Edinbrough (OK, it started a few years before in Australia), BW moved o the US and after a short stint in LA, moved to SF with this debut in Dolores park last year. Stay tuned for more this summer.
