I love walking by the 23rd and Guerrero Market at night. It reminds me of that scene in Lady and the Tramp where they’re eating meatballs — it’s so back alley but adorable at the same time.

Mission Mission is our daily salute to San Francisco's most vibrant neighborhood. We love it here, and we bet you do too.
There’s a dog at that bodega.
A bodegadog.
That dog’s name is Nigel.
Nigel has been absent recently due to the deli they’re building.
Yes! We walked past there on Saturday night. So lovely!
pretty = pricey too! that corner store is hella expensive
I love this corner! Never shop here because I live uphill, but adore the decor.
I miss my hood. Let me know if you hear of a vacancy.
That store sucks though … crappy selection. And I’m not a big fan of the gaudy-it’s-Christmas-all-year lights.
For those that are complaining about the store- it’s about 100 times better than the previous incarnation. And one of the owners is always stoned and undercharges me.
Don’t be so excited. I live in the hood. It hasn’t always been this way. They put the lights up this past Holiday season and haven’t taken them down since – they usually do – however failed to this year.
