When did you take this photo?

Saturday I was sitting on a bench at the top of Dolores Park eating a lime popsicle, talking on the phone about my recent breakup and lightly crying when this couple, I’m pretty sure it is them, interrupted to ask me to move. Apparently I was smack in the middle of their wedding bliss photoshoot. Apparently this was some sort of mission district nostalgia tour? Gross.

Have fun with the suburban married life, Insensitive Couple, leave dpark to the disgruntled, heart-broken homos.

aw, sorry you were upset. They DID ask if you could just let them take a picture and then you could have your bench back. Turns out D park is also for the newly engaged …. that was where he asked her to marry him.

Hope your week is getting better.

Kelly and Will!!!! They’re moving to Spain in three weeks, so yeah, a little bit of nostalgia tour. Pretty rad wedding. Twenty minute ceremony, four hours of partying. Drink choices were limited to Makers, tequila and Racer 5. Gotta love that.

This is worthy of a post on every blog in the world! I find I only check out MM these days to see what lovely story is going to titillate me the most. This one won… so far.

I don’t care what anyone says. This shit is cute as fuck and I’m a little bit teary-eyed. Haters gonna hate.

here’s the other thing… this couple has lived in the mission for the last 4 years and have loved the diversity it offers. AND have the nicest friends and coworkers who also live in the mission and like to hang at Dolores Park with them and love to go to the St. Francis…not just for wedding photos!
