Trail of blood

From our Contact Us page:

Saturday, 4/14, 2:30 AM, Mission between 16th and 17th (mcdonald’s side): any idea what caused the fresh trail of wet blood running the entire length of the block? (and possibly farther, I didn’t check.) A stabbing?

  2. Why are you concerned? says:

Dont go all morbid on us Allan, posts about violence are just a bummer. People don’t need to know why there is a trail of blood anywhere. Violence exists, be alert when you walk around in a city. Now show me some bathroom graffiti!

My bag of chicken livers from safeway started to leak on the way hom

This is the most likely explanation. Life isn’t like the movies where people can spew blood for a few hundred feet and keep moving.

I was out there and the cops were swarming – I was passed by two officers RUNNING from the Mish station, so I followed them on my bike to 16th and Mission. Someone was definately leaking there last night. Rollers everywhere after that. This was arounf 1am I’d guess.

    Leviticus 15:19-30
And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even. And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean. And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

There’s more on 16th from Mission to Capp, south side.

I totally saw this trail of blood yesterday and was wondering about it as I followed it. The possible victim was walking away from 16th based on the splatter.

I posted that. I was walking my chihuahua to El Castellito for some carrot/orange juice. Had to carry her over a river of piss, down the blood trail, and around the drunk lady yelling “¡Yo quiero Taco Bell!”

Hope the victim got proper medical care, whoever it was!

Do you get that a lot (the Taco Bell comment)? Just curious. Whenever I see a Bull Terrier I wonder how often they have to hear “Hey look it’s Spuds McKenzie!” … etc.

Nope. My princess usually gets more respect. And if she doesn’t, she can turn into a killer and take a bite out of their ass.

Anyone not at home at 2:30 in the morning (especially in the Mish) is asking for trouble. Your grandmother is smarter than you’ll ever be.
