Javier sends this in, adding “…found on Valencia St a few nights ago. I don’t even know what to say.”
I think this poop speaks for itself.

Mission Mission is our daily salute to San Francisco's most vibrant neighborhood. We love it here, and we bet you do too.

Oh dear, looks like its spreading from Bernal, as reported on BernalWood a few weeks back: http://bernalwood.wordpress.com/2013/02/01/good-samaritan-flags-hazardous-piles-of-dog-doo-on-cortland/
Personally, I think this is an asinine stunt that’s ultimately counter productive. Rather than adding litter to the poop mess, just pick the damn thing up and dispose of it.
If it’s bringing awareness to the fact poop is left all over the street and (hopefully) prompts someone to be more mindful since there is a chance they will get called out on it, than I really don’t think it’s counter productive.
At least this person did something about this issue rather than just ignore it or criticize someone else’s actions , ya know?
I am a dog owner that picks up roughly twice as much poop as my dog deposits. So, yes, I am doing something about the problem.
The flags are an attempt to shame negligent dog owners. I claim that it is ineffective and only leads to more litter and more problems.
Thanks now if we can get action instead of whining maybe there is a solution
The mission is officially a toilet.
That award can go to. Any alley all over
Once again I say action instead of whining maybe there is a solution
It kills me to think that these dot.com dweebs will actually pay over $1 million to live in a neighborhood where people leave poop on the sidewalk.
No poop is illegal!
This blog has gone to shit.
NICE ONE.
Poop is dope!

poop dood, my favorite ambigram.
Proving once again that no matter what you do:
a) someone’s already done it
b) someone will talk shit on it
I have to say, the Bernalwood pictures are a lot cuter
I have to say, it’s all a bunch of shit.
Banalwood from Banal Heights is more like it.
I’m going to go ahead and poop flag that last comment.
Ignorance is astonishing
You want less fecal matter insist on more housing and toilets instead of criticizing humans for doing what comes natural.
No doubt it’s gross but the solutions are more complex than anyone with an inkling of patience has.
That urine smell is the product of many more bar patrons than the homeless BUT the homeless are blamed just like the dog poopies
Kindness Kills Apathy
Action kills Apathy
Action Kills the Stinky Poopies
Instead of placing blame
SPRING TO ACTION
Problem Solving not WHINING
Really? That’s what your pathetic blog has come to, reporting on poop?
I suppose it’s simply a reflection of this society’s race to the bottom. Can you spell devolution?
wrong; everybodies…thats my next door neighbor.
Hm, someone’s been flagging poop with little American flags in Noe Valley for the last year or so. Looks like maybe they’ve stepped it up with custom flags. Though who has the time or money for that is beyond me.
