Javier sends this in, adding “…found on Valencia St a few nights ago. I don’t even know what to say.”

I think this poop speaks for itself.

UPDATE: Commenter KC points us to Bernal Heights occurrences a couple of weeks ago, via Bernalwood.

    Personally, I think this is an asinine stunt that’s ultimately counter productive. Rather than adding litter to the poop mess, just pick the damn thing up and dispose of it.

      If it’s bringing awareness to the fact poop is left all over the street and (hopefully) prompts someone to be more mindful since there is a chance they will get called out on it, than I really don’t think it’s counter productive.

      At least this person did something about this issue rather than just ignore it or criticize someone else’s actions , ya know?

        I am a dog owner that picks up roughly twice as much poop as my dog deposits. So, yes, I am doing something about the problem.

        The flags are an attempt to shame negligent dog owners. I claim that it is ineffective and only leads to more litter and more problems.

    Ignorance is astonishing
    You want less fecal matter insist on more housing and toilets instead of criticizing humans for doing what comes natural.
    No doubt it’s gross but the solutions are more complex than anyone with an inkling of patience has.
    That urine smell is the product of many more bar patrons than the homeless BUT the homeless are blamed just like the dog poopies

    Hm, someone’s been flagging poop with little American flags in Noe Valley for the last year or so. Looks like maybe they’ve stepped it up with custom flags. Though who has the time or money for that is beyond me.
