Said it before, will say it again: There’s something perfect about the way the Mission looks when photographed by Carlos Reyes. Blurry, dirty and romantic. These shots were culled from four recent photo spreads; click each to see the post from whence it came (and view the thing in its entirety). Carlos uses a Samsung Blackjack 2.

Mission Street Food returns this week, and this time they’re putting their twist on southern-style soul food, with the help of guest chef Tia Harrison. Menu includes: catfish, grits, Smoked Duck Beignets, BBQ and PBQ. Link.

Sangroncito splits his time between the Mission and Brazil, and takes stunning photos of both places. This is the latest from the latter. How about something like this on the Dolores Park bathroom building?

Great, a week after I spend $70 on lights so that my friends can do Critical Mass with me in Sacramento (where front and rear lights are required by law if riding after dark), SFBC and Muni give away free blinky bike lights. The event goes from 6-7pm tonight at various locations throughout the city. The Mission spot is Valencia and Chavez, in front of St. Luke’s. SFist has the details here.
