Oh, thanks LZ. Astute analysis.
Although, over the summer I was invited to some kind of hoe-down at a place on Guerrero between 26th and 25th, so there might be a northward creep in effect.

Mission Mission is our daily salute to San Francisco's most vibrant neighborhood. We love it here, and we bet you do too.

There’s not much Guerrero south of 26th Street.
That’s San Jose/Guerrero: 5 blocks of Guerrero south of 26th – becoming San Jose Avenue at 28th on the east side and at Valley on the west side. Burrito Justice includes us as part of La Lengua.
It was actually a Honky Tonk party, not a hoe-down, but I could see how you could make that mistake.
My B. How was it?
There was a lot of Hank Williams, western wear, line dancing and keg standing. Maybe it wasn’t the most mission-centric of party themes, but you can only attend/throw so many 80s parties.
Remember that 24th St is a semi-permeable hipster membrane. Also, there is Groger’s Western Wear between 25th and 26th on Valencia, so I could see how you could make that mistake.
Note that LaLeReAr recently decided to expand La Lengua northward to 22nd (since no one else was using it).
I always liked the sign on the store at 30th street: “Garlic Ice Cream Brunch”. Not sure how many commas, if any, are omitted.
