I know I harass you guys for posts like this all of the time, but maybe if you gave some insight into how your pick the products/services you promote I would be less annoying when it happens.

    • Allan Hough says:

The insight is in the related posts. We’ve written about these guys dozens of times. Go back and read all about it if you’re so skeptical.

    • Ariel Dovas says:

We post stuff that we’re interested in, that we think people will like, that we feel like supporting.

Did you send something to us that we didn’t post? If so, don’t take it personally.

It’s a neighborhood blog, we highlight things in the neighborhood that we feel like sharing with people.

    • Lindsey says:

Supporting a local business is so insulting!!

      • truth says:

Yes, I know you’ve written about them a bunch. What we want to know is if marketingmarketing is getting PR fed to it or if you’re deciding to do it on your own.

        • Ariel Dovas says:

On our own. Whatever that means. Everyone has a reason. They’re not giving us money for this post. We get something out of it no matter what. Maybe just feeling good?

Not sure what kind of experiences you’ve had that make you not only assume the most insidious intent, but also compel you to hold us to some kind of ill-defined standard that you’ve created. But I don’t think you need to worry about it as much as you seem to be doing.

Doesn’t that logo belong to the estate of Elvis Presley?

  5. Christine says:

Digging the website but ugh, if they’re gonna charge $10 to deliver to my school I can just go to Whole Foods instead and spend the same amount of money without a wait time.

God I wish there were more restaurants down in the design district.

“Hi, I’d like a six-pack of PBR from the corner shop, can you bike-courier it over stat? What’s that, $10 for delivery? Better make it two six-packs…”

  7. GG says:
