The Mission: Putting the temporary in contemporary

From 1954 to 1974 Lakeside Liquors was a little mom and pop shop at 2188 Mission Street. Local photographer Dave Glass/Dizzy Atmosphere grew up with the store as his actual mom and pop’s shop. He recently shared a shot of the exterior and surrounding Mission Street apparently taken in 1984.

Dave’s got a ton of other great Mission photos on his Flickr page.

Actually that after picture isn’t “as the street looks nowadays”, it’s at least a year old. That nasty chinese food place a few doors down has been closed for a while and is Southpaw now.

1984? Why is nearly everything in the frame circa 1950′s?

I thought the same thing until I looked at the photo on the Flickr page. There is a car in the right lane driving towards the photographer that appears to be from the 70s or 80s, though.

Not to mention 7UP, flyers taped to the light poll, and chewing gum smashed into the sidewalk

initially, after you buy a whole house humidifier, you will need to do some experimentation in order to find out the optimal level of moisture that you want it to be emitting into the air. most machines, whether an integrated dishwasher or not, come standard with built in food grinders. you can also get a digital humidistat separately to verify air humidity. when purchasing a new refrigerator, consider the many options that are available. these vacuums are very much easy to use as they have got a deeper and higher reach as compared to the conventional vacuums.
