Flashback: Mission Hipster, 2003

tgifreytag explains that this Hugh D’Andrade creation was the “back cover of the program guide for the 2003 SF Indie Fest.” The more things change, the more they stay the same, right? I mean, nobody would wear a hat like that nowadays, or a shirt like that, and god, look at those sideburns.

But everybody still loves “hipster” humor.

Read the fine print here.

Thanks, khtoo!

I have a “Wildlife Guide to the Urban Dweller” published circa 2004 that I should find and show you some time … about 200 pages, still funny even though some of it doesn’t make much sense here (some satire aimed at types specific to the East Coast).

Oh God, sideburns are out now? I must look a fool. What else have I been doing wrong?
