Culture Skate Headed To The Big Half-Pipe In The Sky

According to this craigslist ad, the Culture Skate storefront is up for grabs. Sucks… sounds like it’s time for another game-changing iteration of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater franchise to get more young posers on boards and give the skating industry the boost it needs.

Thanks to Devin H. for the tip.

About 6 years ago my friends rented this place and set out to build a little world in there, building exteriors inside and everything. It was going to be a great art space. It was fun for a while, and there were some rad parties, but the situation soured (not because of anything we did) before it was finished and they had to leave.

We ended up finding another space and doing it again, but somebody else should snatch this up and do some weird stuff in it.

Culture Skate is/was rad! Everyone was always friendly there and they often had parties that spilled out onto the back patio. I saw Del there the night his show was canceled last year. Definitely going to be a bummer if the neighborhood loses a locally owned skate shop.

This is a good resource for people to utilize in their local business strategy.
Thanks for such wonderful ways. Shelly
