Bring your boat to brunch

The Tartine Line, traditionally known as 18th and Guerrero, floods when it rains like this. Our friend Jenny sent us these pics of the current state.

UPDATE:

Here’s another at 18th and Valencia from kowitz on Instagram.

UPDATE 2: The block is totally clear of water and it’s sunny out. Go out and play.

The rain is here. The weather masters say it will rain into the foreseeable future. We need this water. And not just to wash all the scum off of the streets. Hetch Hetchy is thirsty. This week it’s getting slizzered.

Seriously though, this city has a hard time with rain, so be careful out there. The Muni windows will fog up from inside, iPhones will be ruined inside wet pockets, bikes and cars will splash each other (mostly cars), 18th and Guerrero will flood, 17th and Capp will smell like sewage and Mission Creek will roar into our basements. Let’s weather this storm together, because, really, it’s just a little water.

But Seriously, Is It Snowing in San Francisco?
