Does this thing have enough lift to carry, say, a can of beer?

Why do people with all the cool toys have the worst taste in music and no ability to edit?

Ahhhhh–so is spying next on your agenda? Does someone have the right to shoot it out of the sky, if it is not sanctioned by law enforcement or has no FAA approval? Do the “participants”, especially those that are SAG members, qualify for a per diem for using their images, if you realize any profits from the showing of these clips?

Get over yourself Corey. If every person filmed wanted a cut of advertising revenues, youtube wouldn’t be in business. Also, it’s a linked vid to youtube, so actually MissionMission’s not liable.

Good luck with that whole firing a projectile into the sky at a flying personal video device and not being charged with manslaughter if said projectile misses and strikes a human on it’s gravity-enhanced return to the surface. Falling bullets kill people to, dolt.

Flying r/c rotorcraft directly above people is a seriously boneheaded move.

There are many possible points of failure on these multirotor machines (transmitter, receiver, flight controller, speed controller, battery, motor, propeller, propeller adapters).

Given that this is only a 4 rotor machine, there is no redundancy in the case of a malfunction. If any one of those components fails…that thing is gonna come crashing out of the sky like a rock onto the people below.

It may look like a toy, but even a plastic propeller spinning above 10,000 rpm is capable of doing some serious damage.

The ease of flying these new generation of multicopters has brought a new crop of people to the hobby who unfortunately have more money than sense.

If you want to find out what kind of damage these are capable of inflicting on flesh, check out this rcgroups thread (not for the squeamish).

Before someone corrects me…I am fully aware of the failsafe return-to-home feature on these.

Google DJI Phantom Failure if you think these things are reliable…
