Wait, how the hell did you come to find yourself in this predicament in the first place?

Photographer Dennis Kernohan was on the scene for the aftermath of what looks like an epic flip. Over on the photo page, he offers three guesses as to the cause of the crash. Squeaky Clean Dave was the first to respond:

1) SFPD pursuit?
2) Bridge & Tunnel morons?
3) Bay Area drivers can’t hack it in any sort of weather?

Try your luck.

Isn’t it nice when the bars are pouring hot drinks and you’re sort of expected to dress accordingly? Opens up so many new options. When it’s cold but maybe not actually wintry, but it doesn’t matter because you want to wear your winter stuff anyway? It’s nice.

All you people from the Midwest are always like, “I miss the seasons; you guys don’t know what fall colors are like; etc.” But how about the brilliance of this ginkgo biloba tree on 25th street, in the dead of night — in the dead of December?

Don’t get that in Michigan.

It all began earlier this year with one reader’s impassioned plea for some decent pierogi in San Francisco. There was lots of interest, lots of talk. There was an email thread called “Pierogi Party” for a while, but I don’t recall whether it ever came together or not.

This weekend, finally, there’s a pierogi pary in SF. PierogiSF tells us all about it:
