I was on that weird balcony at Hotel Utah looking down at this okay band Petracovitch the other night, and couldn’t help but fantasize I was on the awesome balcony at 12 Galaxies looking down at some amazing band.

Reread the tirade I wrote when I first learned 12 Galaxies was going under, if you want.

So, apparently Shitty Kitty is a self-hating, closeted fuzzy? Prone to violence and date rape? This is troubling.

And it is part of a new Shitty Kitty series called Vamos Gigantes!

This looks unsanctioned, right? But I bet they’re up to something fun.

“Hey, sexy,” he says, “How ’bout me and you go to town on a WET BURRITO together?”

No, I made that up. I love Taqueria Cancun. Look here.

Was Dirty Cupcakes. Normally they dress more or less normal, but last night they opted for Sailor Moon chic. Here is frontwoman Lauren’s lower half (I think she said the boots were like $10 at the Halloween store, FYI.):

P.S. Give them a listen. I particularly like “Get Out.”

They showed him on the big screen and played “2 Legit.” Maybe that’s what demoralized our boys.
