P.S. He was dancing around on an outdoor stage in his underwear in near-freezing weather. AND he put a cup of ice down his drawers! That’s Fucked Up!

Over at 40 Going on 28, TK and his intrepid New Bar Night crew (not pictured) ventured south on Mission Street into the wilds of Bernal Heights, where they found a dive they liked, St. Mary’s Pub:

[I]t’s more that undefinable “Hmmm, I could hang out here” feeling. I mean, there’s nothing really special or extraordinary about this place. It’s just a nice, mellow bar. Sometimes you just want a bar and not a Scene.

Link. Amen. Lots of Scenes back in our neck of the woods. What’s everybody’s favorite “Hmmm, I could hang out here” bar?

Ecouterre, a site devoted to eco-friendly fashion, today today spotlights our good buddy Mike Chino and his fabulous fashion sense. Tons of pictures of Mike in various splendid ensembles are paired with expert fashion tips (from Mike!) such as, “[S]ustainable style is all about a well-edited wardrobe consisting of classic, versatile, hard-wearing items that only become better with age.”

It’s almost as good as that time Mike was on Fashionist in a brand-new old Yves Saint Laurent suit.

I wasn’t going to take a picture, but a hundred other people were doing it, and I knew you wouldn’t believe the part about the Jenny Lewis hoodie if I didn’t, so I did.

Later I lamented that I’d missed my chance to jump on Bill Murray and kiss him.

(Apparently he also did some bar tending while in Austin.)
