California Sunshine over the weekend posted the story of Aaron (left) and Dinah (right), a pair of sexy young San Franciscans:

I developed a crush on Dinah in Los Angeles. She’s my type- dark, busty, funny, strange. We hung out, we went to party where I folded my arms around her waist and tried to kiss her. She wasn’t interested, but she didn’t push me away.

A week later I asked her out for dinner and drinks. She said yes.

Pitchfork 2010 was rad. If you haven’t been, do try some day. Apart from the epic lineups, the festival is very friendly and local, out in a neighborhood park your concierge and your cabbie have never heard of.

LCD Soundsystem nearly killed me with how perfect they are.  Totally cried during “All My Friends.” The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion are back, in good a form as ever. Surfer Blood continue to impress. Girls win the award for best shirt on a frontperson.

Gotta give it to Detroit for keeping it real. The white hipsters that made this thing might’ve gotten their message through to working-class black folk easier by making the person holding the sign a working-class black person. But they kept it real. Will it do any good?

I think they named me Finn cause I like to swim? Wait, but I also like to hike…and walk…and run….and chase those things you call tennis balls. Point is, I like to a lot of things, and the more outdoorsy and social it is, the more I love it!

Is this viral advertising for some kind of new extreme-hippie energy drink?

I dunno. Anytime I see “mung” anything, I just think of Wayne and Garth counting down the top 10 worst Halloween treats. Number 3 was “chunder” and I fell on the floor laughing. Number 1 was “mung,” and Wayne said “What the hell is mung?” and I almost died. I have a hard time at vegetarian restaurants.

Patrick from Serene Lakes (pictured) wrote in to say, “We used to play quite a bit in SF a few years ago and haven’t played in quite a while, 3 + years, so it’s kind of a reunion show / possibly last show ever.” Epic!
