All whites are sick?

I can’t tell which kind of racism this is. Is it like, “All white are siiick, bro!” Or is it that all white people are sick in the head?

Or is it just a comment on how white people all have allergies and stuff all the time and black people somehow don’t?

Two bros step out of a taxi at Dolores Park ’round midnight

Bro makes a phone call:

Hello? I’m in Dolores Park! DOLORES PARK! Where you at? No, we just got out of a Taxi! Where? What is that? Okay, where? 15th and Valencia? Okay.

Bros walk north on Dolores Street, toward 15th Street, stopping after a few yards to yell up at a house across the street:

15th Street! Which way is 15th Street?? 15TH STREET!!! Oh, okay. Cool.

Bros immediately dash into the street, and have to stop on a dime in the median to avoid getting steamrolled by the oncoming platoon of cars and trucks that are honking at them.

Hope they made it to… the Royan Hotel?

Where you at?

Dolores!

Duh!

Also, this.

For goodness’ sake, when will somebody turn this place into something cool?

I know I mentioned this before, and some lovely discussion followed, but this epic shot by Jeremy Brooks just begs for the question to be asked again: Why is this building not already some kind of awesome thing?

It’s 80 degrees in the park right now

But temps drop significantly over the next couple days. So you should probably get a “stomach ache” and “head home early” RIGHT NOW. (See you in the park!)

Cars video promotes graffiti, kind of looks like a ripoff of Ferocious Few video

The song is an instant classic though:

Instant classic! Doesn’t it make you want to ditch the office and head for the park?

Watch the Ferocious Few video in question here. Stream the entire new Cars album here (though it’s not all this good).

In-N-Out Burgers in Dolores Park

Damn, this looks like fun. How about as soon as Chaac Mool moves out, we let In-N-Out in? Nobody could possibly be opposed to that, right?

Or maybe TCB Courier could put together some kind of arrangement? Their riders are pret-ty fast.

Wearing a backpack on stage like you’ve got better things to do

Yeah, that’s pretty baller.

I think this was some combination of Silian Rail and a few dudes from some other bands.

Rad Mummy

That’s right, it’s Mummy Week on Mission Mission. But seriously, this mummy is rad.

Single-family cathedral across from Dolores Park is finally off the market

And it’s going to become some kind of day school. Curbed SF reports:

The space will be used for the Children’s Day School’s middle school, plus a large gathering/performance space which it plans to make available to community groups [...]

That last part seems cool. Read on.

The main thing is, does “Allan’s Bi-Monthly Ping Pong and Berlin Techno Mixer” qualify as a community group?

UPDATE: The school already has an official website.

Biographical Info:

"I joked that living in the Mission would be the end of me. And there were nights where it felt like the case.

One night I went out with my friend Allan to the bar that no one goes to on 16th Street, where I lost half my drink and money on the dance floor. Later we skated down 16th to Evelyn Lee, where I fell off my board and landed on my head as the 22 bus sped past behind me. A sobering moment. At the bar, I sulked and nursed my wounds until Allan put on Amy Winehouse’s 'Valerie.' We danced, he dipped me, and I felt better."
